The Fall of Drakhtar

The Fall of Drakhtar is a turn-based strategy game on a grid-based board, where the player controls a hero and their army with the goal of defeating the enemy commander without losing their own.

Battles are interspersed with narrative scenes in the style of a visual novel, though without dialogue options, focusing the experience on the story and tactical decision-making.

The game was developed in C++ using SDL2 during my second year of university as part of a group project with nine classmates.

In 2019, we participated in the Guerrilla Game Festival, where we presented our game to the public and industry professionals, who were able to play it and provide feedback for improvement.
