Game assets: Unlucky Luckie

Unlucky Luckie is a challenging platformer game developed in just 10 days for GBJAM 13.
The goal of the jam was to create a game from scratch, inspired by Game Boy classics, using only a 4-color palette and without relying on third-party assets. This meant that all graphics had to be created from scratch, and I was responsible for:
-
Design and animation of characters and objects
-
Creation of a complete tileset for level construction
-
Production of optimized spritesheets respecting the graphical limitations of the console
Main Character:
For the main character, I designed and animated the following actions:
- Run Animation

- Jump animation

- Death animation

Black Cat:
A black cat that, if it touches the player, triggers a bad luck event.
- Run Animation

- Jump animation

Mirror:
Mirror that, when touched by the player, falls and breaks, triggering a bad luck event.

- Mirror Falling Animation

Four-Leaf Clover:
A power-up that the player can collect to gain good luck for a limited time, preventing unfortunate events from occurring.
